House prices rise 5% in three months

The average Jersey home now costs £425,000
Average house prices in Jersey rose 5% over the past three months, according to latest quarterly figures from the States.
The average price for a home in Jersey is now £425,000, making island homes the third most expensive in the British Isles after Guernsey and London.
All categories of housing became more expensive, while 298 homes changed hands during the three-month period.
The Jersey House Price Index is still 3% below its 2010 peak.
