A man with a suspected spinal injury was rescued after falling at Jersey's Les Ecrehous reef.
Two RNLI lifeboats were launched at about 18.45 BST on Monday after a report the man had a "potentially serious back injury."
He was transferred by the St Catherine's inshore lifeboat to the larger St Helier all-weather lifeboat, where he was assessed by a doctor.
He was then taken to St Helier for an ambulance to take him to hospital.
The man's injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
