Resurfacing work closes Mount Bingham in Jersey

One of Jersey's main roads will be closed for just over a week for resurfacing work.
Sections of Mount Bingham in St Helier will be shut at various points between Wednesday and 8 February.
Diversion routes have been set up and islanders have been advised to allow extra time for their journey while maintenance is carried out.
The work on Mount Bingham has started following the completion of resurfacing on nearby Green Street.
According to the Jersey Government website, external, Mount Bingham will be closed from Wednesday to Friday.
Diversions set up
Over the weekend, the road will be closed between 07:30 GMT on Saturday to 20:00 on Sunday.
The road will return to a 24-hour closure from 7.30am on Monday until the work is scheduled to finish.
Traffic will be diverted around Havre Des Pas, South Hill and Pier Road between 06:30 and 10:00.
After 10:00 the diversion moves to Le Quai aux Merchands and South Hill.
