Ann Mary Robins: Inquest into death of Jersey cliff-fall passenger opens
- Published
An inquest has opened into the death of a woman after a car went over a cliff in Jersey.
Ann Mary Robins, 84, was a passenger in the vehicle which fell more than 6m (20ft) off a bunker wall in the car park at Corbiere on 7 April.
States of Jersey Police said the driver of the vehicle, who was a similar age to Mrs Robins, was treated in hospital.
The force said last week the driver was in a stable condition.
During a hearing at Morier House in St Helier, the coroner agreed to release Mrs Robins' body so her family could hold a funeral.
The inquest has been adjourned and will continue at a later date.
