A man has drowned in the swimming pool at US actress Demi Moore's Los Angeles home, officials say.
Police said the body of the 21-year-old man, named as Edenilson Steven Valle, was discovered floating in the pool on Sunday morning.
Demi Moore, 52, who was away at the time of the incident said she was in "absolute shock".
Police are investigating. One officer told the LA Times, external he believed the victim to be a member of staff.
Emergency crews were called to the house in the city's Beverly Crest neighbourhood early morning local time.
Paramedics treated the man but he was pronounced dead soon after.
Valle's family told investigators he could not swim. It is thought he may have fallen into the pool during a party.
Demi Moore bought the house together with her former husband Ashton Kutcher. She was once the highest paid actress in Hollywood.
Before Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore was married to film star Bruce Willis.
In a statement she called the incident an "unthinkable tragedy, and my heart goes out to this young man's family and friends".
