Give it up to the Greeks: Democracy's history on display

Last week the UK had the ultimate exercise in democracy - a referendum - and in November, the US will have its turn. But just like so many other things - including art, medicine and science - the roots can be found in ancient Greece.

A new exhibit at the National Geographic Museum celebrates Ancient Greece's invention of democracy - and the objects which show the early history of the form of government.
