Ukraine: This is a moment of peril, says US Secretary of State

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has warned of a "moment of peril for the lives and safety of millions of people," as Western governments continue to warn that a Russian invasion of Ukraine may be imminent.

Addressing the United Nations Security Council on Thursday, he said the principles that sustain peace and security were under threat.
