President Biden's message to migrants attempting to cross US border
US president Joe Biden has urged migrants not to "just show up at the border".
Mr Biden's warning comes as part of an announcement of a new plan that will see the US accept up to 30,000 migrants each month, in an attempt to tackle the border crisis.
