Migrants in limbo as Covid-era border rule set to end
Title 42, which has been in effect since March 2020, allows border agents to turn back most migrants and asylum seekers on the basis of the public health emergency that was the pandemic.
The policy is set to expire on 11 May, and some migrants on their way to the US hope it will make it easier for them to enter the country.
