California WW2-era blimp hanger engulfed in flames
A historic former blimp hangar has been engulfed in flames in Tustin, California.
The massive wooden structure, one of two at the former Marine Corps Air Station Tustin, had been used to house blimps during World War Two, before later becoming a set for a variety of film and TV shows.
An investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched, police said, and no injuries have been reported.
The local fire authority had said the best way to treat the fire was to allow the building to collapse.
