Donald Trump's lawyer Alina Habba says he would run for president even if he was in jail
One of Donald Trump's lawyers has told the BBC that the former president is a "victim of political, selective prosecution". On Thursday, Mr Trump was convicted on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in relation to a hush-money payment made to adult star Stormy Daniels. He has said he plans to appeal against his historic conviction, and in an interview for Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, Alina Habba insisted that even if he is jailed he will run for office because there are "people that need him". Watch Alina Habba's full interview on Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, on BBC One at 09:00.
