CBB star Jeremy McConnell 'couldn't handle' relationship with Stephanie Davis

Jeremy McConnell from Celebrity Big Brother says he couldn't handle his relationship with fellow housemate Stephanie Davis.
Confirming their split, the Irish model said it was too high-profile for him.
The couple were reunited outside the Celebrity Big Brother house around two weeks ago and they had been due to appear on Loose Women for their first joint interview, but cancelled.
"Jeremy won't be able to go on Loose Women with Steph," a spokeswoman said.
"He cares really deeply for Steph; however, the pressure of the relationship was just too much.
"He really wishes it could have worked out and he wishes Steph the very best for the future."
Stephanie Davis also released a statement to Loose Women.
It said: "I'm really sad not to come into the show today and see all of you Loose Women.
"Everything has changed for me over the weekend. I'm very upset and I feel taking a few days to get my head together is the best thing for me to do right now.
"Thank you for the continued support as always. Love you all lots and I will see you soon. Steph."
There was speculation that they'd split up at the weekend when 26-year-old Jeremy McConnell posted a tweet, which has now been deleted.
It read: "I have been the biggest mug. I'm sorry for the people who tried to warn me. But you live and learn. Onwards and upwards."
The pair grew close in the Big Brother house, despite Stephanie Davis being in a relationship with model Sam Reece at the time.
Stephanie, 22, finished as runner-up in the reality competition and talked about her "love" for Jeremy McConnell afterwards.
There were also rumours about a possible engagement when they were spotted shopping for jewellery last week.

Stephanie Davis posted a picture three days ago on Instagram wearing a diamond ring and captioned it "A day without you feels like a year. True love".
The pair have now unfollowed each other on Twitter after getting together last month.
