Beyonce has given birth to a baby girl!

Blue Ivy Carter was welcomed into the world in New York over the weekend, instantly becoming one of the most famous children on the planet!

Both international superstar mum and dad, the rapper Jay-Z, are said to be really happy.

Celebs were quick to congratulate the happy couple. On social networking site Twitter, Rihanna said: "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih."
