The Eurovision Song Contest grand final took place in Copenhagen on Saturday. Ukraine opened the show with Mariya Yaremchuk performing alongside a giant hamster wheel on stage.

Greek entry Freaky Fortune encouraged the crowd to bounce to their song Rise Up. They bounced too - on trampolines!

Russia's Tolmachevy Sisters appeared on stage with their hair weaved together. They performed their song teetering on a see-saw.

France's entry Twin Twin came last on the scoreboard. They only managed to score two points - one each from Finland and Sweden.

Ovi from Romania performed part of his song inside this unusual halo piano.

The UK's Molly Smitten-Downes finished 17th despite big hopes for her song Children of the Universe.

The Common Linnets represented the Netherlands. They kept it simple for their performance and ended the show in second place.

Ruth Lorenzo sang Dancing In The Rain for Spain - complete with a flick of her wet hair. Ruth finished in the top five of the UK version of the X Factor in 2008.

The competition was won by Austria's singer Conchita Wurst who sang Rise Like A Phoenix.

Conchita said: "This night is dedicated to everyone who believes in a future of peace and freedom." The Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Austria in 2015.
