What's happened at Liverpool?
Liverpool 'lack of intensity' exposed by PSV
Liverpool won the Premier League, lifting the trophy last May, having only lost four league games all season.
It looked as if the team would continue where they left off at the start of this campaign - with seven straight wins in all competitions and an improved squad that included record signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle for £125 million and Florian Wirtz for £116 million from Bayer Leverkusen.
But having spent A LOT of money, it doesn't seem to be paying off right now.
Isak has only scored once, and Wirtz is currently injured.
Liverpool's great start was suddenly followed by a run of six defeats in seven matches and, despite notable home wins that followed against Real Madrid and Aston Villa, the team has largely struggled.
The Merseyside reds currently sit 12th in the Premier League table having lost half of the 12 games they've played so far.
Liverpool's form: What are people saying?

Liverpool's last three games in a row all ended in defeat, all by three or more goals
Liverpool player Curtis Jones, spoke after the PSV game and said: "I don't have the answers, honestly, I don't. It's just unacceptable," he told Irish broadcaster, RTE.
"I'm past being angry inside. I'm at the point now where I just don't have the words."
Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard spoke out too. Appearing on TNT Sports, he said the team is "struggling massively," and their confidence must be near rock bottom.
Gerrard said there are "no excuses for a performance like that at this football club." But he didn't want to use the word "crisis" yet.
Liverpool form a 'shock for everyone' - Slot
Liverpool manager Arne Slot said: "This run is a shock for everyone...
"For the players, for me. I don't easily shock and it's very unexpected. We can all do better individually, but that goes for everyone including myself."
Asked whether he is worried about his position as manager with all the defeats, Slot said: "No, I'm not worried. My focus is on other things, than worrying about my own position."
He went on to add that: "I need to do better and that's what I'm trying to do every single day, to improve the team and that is where my main focus is."
