The Great British Bake Off has taken the country by storm, becoming one of the most popular shows on TV, and here at Newsround we are no different.

Our presenters have all been inspired by the amazing creations that they have seen in the kitchen throughout this series, and to celebrate Wednesday's final some of them have shared their favourite recipes.

It seems that in Newsround HQ there is a bit of a sweet tooth and a love for all things cake!

Ayshah just loves her chocolate

Ayshah goes crazy for chocolate brownies. But what is it about them that she loves so much?

"I absolutely love anything to do with chocolate, and when chocolate is in some sort of cake-form that's one of the best things in the world. One of my favourite things to eat are brownies, they're chewy, gooey and most importantly yummy. They go down very well in my house whenever they're made, and to make them even more special try adding some sort of fruit or nut and sprinkling some icing sugar on top. Mmmmm!"

Jenny believes in these fairies

Jenny is fond of a fairy cake. Here's what she had to say:

"Fairy cakes are brilliant because you can decorate them all differently. You can spell out a message, make them into funny faces, or make a million different patterns with sweets and icing. The cakes aren't too difficult to make - which is great for me because my baking skills are very limited!"

Holiday memories for Ricky

Ricky is big fan of cinnamon and raisin loaf, but says that it's quite tricky to make. He has fond memories of another type of bread though:

"Cinnamon and raisin loaf is a bit tricky to make but reminds me of my childhood. Something really easy that anyone can make is focaccia bread. Sprinkled with olive oil, sea salt and rosemary. It's the perfect bread and takes me back to my holidays in Italy!"
