First all Hijabi fashion show at New York Fashion Week

Meet fashion designer extraordinaire Anniesa Hasibuan. She just made history by producing the first ever all-hijab fashion show, and the famous New York Fashion Week.
Anniesa is the first Indonesian designer to be included in New York Fashion Week, and her fashion collection, called De Jayakarta, is made up of 38 different outfits and 10 evening looks.
Her clothes are meant to be mixed and matched, and can be worn off the runway, which some catwalk clothes can't really, because they are too expensive or not very practical.
Her collection is made up of lots of embroidery, lace, pastel and metallic colours. Anniesa hopes her collection will inspire designers, and introduce them to fashion from the different and diverse parts of Indonesia.
