Comments: What did you think of new Great British Bake Off?
- Published
The wait is finally over as The Great British Bake Off returned to our TV screens on Tuesday night.
Paul Hollywood and new judge Prue Leith welcomed 12 fresh faces to the famous white tent - all of whom are aiming to be crowned Britain's best amateur baker.
The hit show has moved to Channel 4 from the BBC, and changes to the show - including the line-up of hosts and the introduction of ad-breaks - have got fans wondering if the new series will be just as tasty as previous years.
So we wanted to know what you thought of it.
Your Comments
I think the older series was better because it was more exciting.
Sam, Godalming, England
I prefer the old series as it had Mel and Sue, and they made it more exciting. The new presenters don't have as much flair and enthusiasm as the previous presenters.

I love the new Bake Off. The only thing I miss is Mary Berry.
Joshua, Buckinghamshire, England
I really like the new Bake Off but the adverts are annoying and it feels weird without Mary Berry.
Rowan, Hull, England
I loved it but I would prefer Mel and Sue presenting it because there really funny!

I really enjoyed the new GBBO. Noel was great and very funny, but also kind to the contestants. I just loved his shirt! The standard of the showstoppers was very high. I will be watching from now on.
