Artist draws spaceships inspired by household items

Artist Eric Geusz didn't waste any time fidget spinning, he's very good at turning every day stuff you find in your house into impressive spaceship designs.

We reckon you'll never look at a potato peeler in quite the same way. In this picture Eric the artist seems to have redesigned the peeler as some kind of cargo ship.

No wonder the remote always goes missing, it's busy pretending to be a spaceship! We like how the artist has used the PlayStation controller to create the engines on this craft.

It brings new meaning to the slogan 'wash and go', this spacecraft has been designed using a bottle of shampoo.

As you might know, space is very, very cold. Roughly 2.7 Kelvin - that's an incredibly chilly -270.45 Celsius. So what better way to warm up than in a space ship made out of hot sauce!

I don't know about you, but we're getting Anakin Skywalker Star Wars vibes... Suddenly we're imagining the young Darth Vader winning a pod race, driving really fast salad tongs.

Going where no can opener has gone before... Maybe it will open wormholes to other worlds, or maybe just a tin of baked beans... Coming up with new ideas can be tough sometimes but artist Eric Geusz's amazing pictures are a reminder that inspiration can come from anywhere.
