Bluebottle 'invasion' shuts beaches in Australia

Bluebottles are sea creatures which are often spotted on beaches and look a lot like jellyfish - they can sting like them too.

That's why several beaches in Queensland had to be closed after more than 3000 people were stung by them at the weekend.

Although the sting can be painful it's typically mild and people who've been affected have had help from lifeguards and paramedics.
