Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt engaged to Katherine Schwarzenegger

Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World star Chris Pratt and his partner Katherine Schwarzenegger have become engaged just a few weeks after they officially confirmed that they were dating.

The announcement was made on social media after Katherine accepted his proposal.

He wrote "Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I'm thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!" The post was captioned with a diamond ring emoji.

The couple were rumoured to be dating from early last year after Pratt's high profile divorce from actress Anna Faris.

But they only made their relationship public last December by posting a collage of pictures on social media.

Katherine Schwarzenegger has not yet commented on the engagement.
