Weather: Why this bank holiday weekend's been warm

It's been a sunny and warm bank holiday weekend so we want to know how you've made the most of the weather and what else you've got planned.

For most of the UK there have been sunny spells, temperatures have gone up and it's been drier too.

BBC meteorologist Darren Bett explains that it's because of a tropical continental air mass. (If you can't see the video below, then click here.)
