Coronavirus and schools: How do you feel about going back to class in June?

Some of you might be returning to school at the start of June after spending lots of weeks home-schooling - how do you feel about it?

Boris Johnson has said some primary school years in England could be going back to school at the start of June.

Union leaders - representing teachers and school staff - met with the government's top scientific advisors on Friday 15 May.

They discussed the plans and how to keep schools safe when they reopen, but didn't agree to go back to work.

Teaching unions have raised concerns about whether it is safe to return to school, and say they still have "unanswered questions".

Doctors have backed them, with the British Medical Association saying teachers and heads were "absolutely right" to urge caution and prioritise testing to avoid a second spike in the number of people with the virus.

However, Education Secretary Gavin Williamson (who's in charge of education and school in England) has said schools would have all the "guidance and support they will need" to reopen, and that they would only open their doors more widely when the conditions were right to do so, with the earliest date being 1 June.

Children's Commissioner Anne Longfield is "disappointed"

The Children's Commissioner - who works to protect the rights of kids - has said she is "disappointed" that the unions and government haven't come to an agreement.

Anne Longfield has said that "all sides need to show a greater will to work together in the interests of children".

She thinks schools need to open "as quickly as possible" and has called for stronger safety measures to be introduced, such as regular testing for pupils and teachers, deep cleaning of facilities and social distancing.

In Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, schools aren't planning to reopen in June - and possibly not until September.

Children in other countries around the world, where lockdown is easing, are heading back and schools are making changes to make it as safe as possible for everyone attending.

Maybe you are really looking forward to it, perhaps you have concerns about how to do it safely, or about how it will work?
