2023 continues to be one of Taylor Swift's most successful years.
Now the US superstar has broken even more records, with her re-recorded album 1989 becoming the UK's fastest selling record of 2023.
The album sold more than double the opening-week sales of the 2014 original album, with 184,000 copies sold last week.
According to the UK Official Charts Company, the album itself went to Number One, with songs from it at numbers one and two in the charts and yet another in the Top Ten.
1989 (Taylor's Version) is the only album to go gold in a single week.
Swift is the second female artist with the most number one albums in UK chart history. Only Madonna has more with 12.
This new album was also the week's biggest-selling record on vinyl with nearly 62,000 copies sold.
1989 is the year Taylor was born, but 2023 might also be her special year.
Not only has the re-released album been a hit in the UK, over in the US 1.1 million copies have been sold since it came out last Friday.
The Welcome to New York singer continues to beat her own records too. 1989 (Taylor's Version) also broke Taylor's own record as the woman with the most UK Number 1 albums this century.
The pop sensation also has the top three-selling albums of the year in the US.
Overall, it becomes Taylor's 11th chart-topping album in the UK, following Red, 1989, Reputation, Lover, Folklore, Evermore, Fearless (Taylor's Version), Red (Taylor's Version), Midnights and Speak Now (Taylor's Version).
Taylor Swift decided to re-record her albums so she could have full control over her work and can earn all the money they make.
Swifties, the name for Taylor's fans, have helped make these re-recorded albums a huge success.
Last month the singer achieved billionaire status, according to a new report.
Along with these new album releases, the Eras tour and the concert film of the show being a box office hit, all helped her to achieve it.
