Are flip phones retro cool or old fashioned?

Human Mobile Devices, or HMD, are attempting to ride the pink wave of Barbie-mania.

Following the Barbie movie's record-breaking release in 2023, HMD are teasing a brand new Barbie inspired flip phone.

They are collaborating with Barbie creators Mattel for the retro-inspired launch.

While they only teased a pixelated image of the phone at MWC, sources say it is likely to be available in the colour pink. No surprises there!

Would an artist find a transparent laptop display useful?

Do you ever find yourself working away on a laptop, but getting frustrated that you can't see what's hiding BEHIND the screen?

No, we don't really have that problem either. But hey, this transparent laptop looks cool.

Chinese-American tech company Lenovo unveiled their super see-through laptop at the MWC on Monday.

Lenovo's executive director Tom Butler said the transparency of the display could be useful for artists and architects, who can trace designs from real-life.

And according to Wired, Lenovo have claimed that users can make the screen completely opaque if they want to for privacy.

Would you use a ring to track your sleep?

Move over smartwatches, Samsung have developed an even smaller piece of tech bling for you to wear.

Their Galaxy Ring is designed to be used as a health tool, with the ability to track your heart rate, sleep and menstrual cycles.

The rings will come in a variety of sizes so it can be suitable for different hand and finger sizes.

It doesn't appear that you'll be able to have all the functions of a smartphone or a smartwatch, but Samsung says the ring is still in development so watch this space.

Would you wear a bendy phone?

Rings are not the only bit of wearable tech on view at MWC.

Mobile device maker Motorola has created a smartphone that can bend around your wrist to form a bracelet.

The phone can also be bent into an arch that allows it to stand up by itself.

But this isn't the first crazy piece of phone tech that Motorola have made.

Their RIZR smartphone model featured a rollout screen which could extend the screen's size.

CyberDog 2 looks cool but is it worth the price?

Electronics manufacturer Xiaomi allowed attendees at the MWC to take a look at their latest four-legged robot pooch, CyberDog 2, up close.

Their promotional video suggests the AI-powered dog could be a helpful home companion by remotely turning off lights, closing curtains and dispensing dog food to their real-life counterparts.

Xiaomi also want you to know that this robot is capable of doing backflips, including off a skateboard.

But with all these bells and whistles, CyberDog 2 is not cheap, it costs $3,000 (£2,365.77).
