Gladiators Series Two: BBC confirms the Gladiators will be back!

Gladiators fans, ARE YOU READY?
The makers of the show have confirmed the Saturday night hit show WILL be back on the BBC for a second series.
The iconic gameshow has been a real hit, with almost 10 million of us watching the first episode at home.
"It has been wonderful to hear how much families have loved watching this together," said Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC. "We can't wait for more action from the Gladiators."
Don't forget the series one grand final is on this Saturday 30 March on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 5.50pm.

What has happened in Gladiators Series 1?
We've seen some great contenders go up against the 16 Gladiators.
Sabre, Legend, Nitro, Diamond, Phantom, Athena, Bionic, Fire, Giant, Dynamite, Viper, Electro, Apollo, Comet, Steel and Fury have mad it their job to try to stop the contenders - members of the public - from winning a series of challenges.
We've seen 'Duel' - where players stand on small platforms and have to knock each other off using sticks - 'Hang Tough', 'Powerball', 'The Wall' and the super-tough 'Eliminator'.
