Jake Jarman has brought home Great Britain's first gold medal in the men's floor final at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

The Championships kicked off on Sunday 19 October, in Jakarta, Indonesia, running until Saturday 25 October.

GB's Luke Whitehouse came in second place, securing a silver medal for the team.

As part of the floor category, gymnasts perform fast, complicated tumbles and jumps, to try to get a high score, by making as few mistakes as possible.

Olympic champion Carlos Yulo of the Philippines was third with a score of 14.533.

Jarman took home a bronze medal in men's floor at last year's 2024 Paris Olympics.
