What's the biggest piece of art you have made? Chances are it's nowhere near as big as this one.

A farmer in Thailand has turned has transformed his rice paddy into a massive work of art - around the size of two-and-a-half football pitches.

The fields in the Chiang Rai province feature a dragon, a local cat deity as well as other animals.

The farmer, Tanyapong Jaikham, and his team say its a tribute to those were affected by flooding near the area in September last year, he said they "designed the dragon to carry away all the negativity".

The designs were made possible using different colours of rice, including 20 kilograms of rainbow rice.

The team used artificial intelligence (AI) to plot and help with outlines of the design.

Technology was also used to mark the precise points where the rice seeds needed to be planted.

Tanyapong and his team started work on the piece in October and it took around two months to complete.

He chose the dragon to mark the end of this Lunar New Year - which is the year of the dragon.

Since the art was completed in December, thousands of people have gone along to take a look.
