Is your school being turned into a polling station for the day?

Adults across the UK are getting ready to vote in a general election on Thursday 4 July 2024.

They will have their say in deciding who will represent their local area as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the Houses of Commons.

There are a few different ways adults can vote, but most people visit a polling station.

Polling stations are often places like schools or community centres that are turned into a voting areas on the big day.

We want to know if your school is being turned into a polling station.

If you live in England or Wales, is your school closing for the day to allow people to vote there? Or is it staying open?

Are they putting voting booths in your school hall?
