The 2024 Olympics are officially underway in the French capital of Paris.

Fans will see hundreds of athletes from all around the world competing in lots of different sporting events including classics like swimming, gymnastics and athletics and also some brand new additions like kitesurfing and breaking.

The competition looks set to be jam-packed as some of the world's biggest sports stars battle it out for the coveted Olympic titles and medals.
