We want to hear the best pranks ever
Even though April Fools' Day is a big part of the calendar, historians still aren't 100% sure how it began.
Some think that the origins have something to do with English poet and playwright Geoffrey Chaucer.
Chaucer had a story about a fox that tricked a rooster 32 days from the start of March - which lines up as 1 April.
But others think it could be the legacy of a Roman tradition at the start of spring, where kids were allowed to give orders to their parents.
There's also a theory that there lies a clue in its French title of 'April Fish Day', as in spring it was easy to 'trick' fish and catch them, because the rivers were full of them.
