Would you stop using your phone if it meant no homework for two weeks?
That's what primary and secondary pupils have done at a school in Solihull, near Birmingham.
"Ditch your device, pick up a book and get reading," said head teacher Charles Fillingham.
Explaining that he hopes children at the school will reduce their screen time, he added: "Education is a balance - it's not all about being super prepared for a super-electronic future, we want creativity, we want innovation, we want children to get lost in a book."
Would you ditch your smartphone and other devices if it meant no homework? And would it encourage you to read more? Let us know in the comments.

What do the pupils think?
Lauren, one of the pupils taking part in the scheme, said: "It's encouraging me to just put those devices back on charge, away, at the end of the lounge."
Another pupil, Isabella, said it was easy to "forget the benefits of just reading a book" when people tended to turn to their screens in their free time.
But what do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
