The Edinburgh Fringe is the world's biggest art festival and takes place over three weeks every August in Scotland's capital city.
The Funniest Joke of the Fringe award aims to find the most hilarious one-liner of the festival.
Comedy critics went to hundreds of shows across the Edinburgh Fringe to create a shortlist of their favourite jokes, which was voted on by 2,000 members of the public.
Mark said he was "really chuffed" to win the title.
He jokingly added: "I needed some good news as I was just fired from my job marking exam papers, can’t understand it, I always gave 110%.”
