Saturday nights are not the same without Strictly Come Dancing, and we now only have one more week of this series left.

But first, the celebrity contestants and their pro partners had to make it through a show-stopper of a semi-final.

Sadly, one couple had to fall at the final hurdle, so who made it through to next week's grand final, and who left the competition for good?

Read on to find out.

JB and Lauren shimmied their way to full marks

Two couples earned full marks from the judges, scoring 40 points for their dances.

JB and Lauren topped the leader board with a combined score of 79 from two dances.

Their performance to "Red Alert" by Basement Jaxx was the first time a Salsa has received a perfect score in six years on the show.

Tasha and Aljaz also scored big for their Waltz to "(You Make Me Feel) A Natural Woman" by Aretha Franklin.

But the two couples who earned the fewest votes, combined with the judges scores, and ended up in the dance off were Tasha and Aljaz and Pete and Jowita.

Pete said his pro partner Jowita was a "ray of sunshine"

All three judges decided to save Tasha and Aljaz, so in the end it was Pete Wicks and his partner Jowita who left the competition just a week before the final.

When asked by Tess about his time in the competition, Pete said: "It's been wild. I've been quite honest about the fact that I didn't necessarily want to do this [Strictly] in the first place, but everyone else wanted me to do it, and I am so, so glad that I did it!"

The remaining four couples - Chris and Dianne, JB and Lauren, Sarah and Vito, and Tasha and Aljaz - will take to the dancefloor next week for the Grand Final, each performing three dances.
