The National Geographic Traveller (UK) has announced the winners of its 2025 photography competition.
The annual competition is open to photographers in the UK and Ireland to enter, and an opportunity for them to showcase some incredible pictures from around the world.
There are six categories that both amateur and professional photographers could enter into: Landscape, People, Wildlife, Food, City life and Portfolio. As well as a grand prize winner.
Take a look at some of the incredible winning and running-up photos.

Winner - Wildlife category: Taken in Spain by Victoria Andrews this picture captured the moment perfectly.
"The fox came closer to the eagle, and closer still, until they were almost nose to beak. I was clicking like crazy, while all the time praying I had got all my camera settings correct," says photographer Victoria Andrews.

Winner - People category: This photo taken by Justin Cliffe took the top spot in the people category. It shows a grandmother and her great granddaughter from the Red Dao minority people of Lao Cai Province in Vietnam. The grandmother is working on embroidery, a skill that is passed down through generations.

Runner up - Food Category: The National Geographic say this category celebrates the journey from "field to fork" and all the tasty food around the world. The running up image shows Solomon Islanders travelling in dugout canoes to sell fruit and vegetables to a dive boat the photographer was on.

Runner up - Landscape Category: This picture was taken by Christopher West. His vision required many things to come together including a hike to the view point on a -14C winter's night! Chilly!

Runner up - City Life category: Despite the rain these colourful steps cheered up photographer Jordan Banks who snapped this shot in Nantes.
"These stairs were right outside my hotel so I grabbed an umbrella and a 70-200mm lens and this scene presented itself to me," says photographer Jordan Banks.

Winner - Portfolio category: The portfolio category is for photographers who present a story in a set of 10 images. The winner Joshua Mallett entered a set of photos where "time seems to pause". They include scenes from Nepal to Normandy.
