Notting Hill Carnival 2025: Children's Day parade in pictures

Notting Hill Carnival 2025 is in full swing, with the annual Children's Day parade taking place on Sunday 24th August.

The yearly event is a chance for children and their families to take part in all the carnival's festivities.

Like the rest of the carnival, the day is all about rocking incredible costumes, vibrant music, dancing and delicious food.

Some even had whistles so they could create their own music while they boogied down the streets.

There were also groups who performed routines they'd carefully rehearsed before the big day.

The parade gives young people an opportunity to be bold, bright and confident, something this performer definitely embraced.

Carnival is also a way children can celebrate different cultures with friends.

More than a million people in total are expected to attend the event over the weekend.
