Kylian Mbappé joins Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappé said his "dream has come true" after he was officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player.

The French striker was handed his number 9 shirt at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

The 25-year-old left Paris St-Germain for a 5-year contract with the Spanish giants, joining the likes of England's Jude Bellingham who signed with the team last summer.

He had this message for the kids who came to watch the announcement in the stadium: “I was just like you, I had this dream and today it comes true. I can tell you that if you have the passion, you can achieve your dreams."

Fans will be looking forward to seeing the super-speedy striker in action when the new season starts.

He's one of the fastest players in the world of football clocking a top speed of 23.6 mph (38 km per hour) - that's faster than Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt's average speed during his 100m world record win in 2009!
