What happened in the Gladiators final?

It was the grand final of Gladiators on Saturday night.

For the contestants, after victory in the heats, battling in the quarters, and surviving the semi-finals, it all came down to this!

Joe faced Mus, while Amanda was competing against Aneila to be crowned the next Gladiators champion.

After an exciting contest, Amanda Wah from Warrington and Joe Fishburn from Scarborough were crowned Gladiators Champions 2025

They also managed to set new records at the same time!

Amanda went into the Eliminator 1.5 seconds behind her rival Aneila.

She managed to catch her on the rope climb and get to the top of the travellator to finish in a series quickest time of 1:18.

Joe had a six second head start on the Eliminator, and although Mus gave it his all he couldn't match Joe for speed, as he went on to set a new Eliminator record of 0:55.

Amanda said taking part had been "the best experiences of my life", and Joe told host Barney Walsh that winning "meant the world to him".

Joe also gave credit to his fellow contestant, saying: "I couldn't be happier to do this with someone like Mus."

Aneila meanwhile made history as the first Muslim female contender on the show.

She got her place in the final, after semi-final winner Zavia Hill couldn't take part due to an injury.
