There are some tracks that you just love to listen to over and over and over again.

Is there a song you've been playing non-stop this summer or feel like you've been hearing everywhere?

Ordinary by singer-songwriter Alex Warren has been named the UK's Official Song of the Summer 2025, according to the Official Charts Company.

But it was a different story online, with Jess Glynne's Hold My Hand being chosen as TikTok's song of the summer for 2025 after it was used for a holiday company advert which was made into a meme.

Glynne said: "Music has always been about connection for me, and knowing this song has soundtracked so many happy moments around the world, that's the most special feeling ever. It's the song that keeps on giving."

Let us know in the comments what your song of the summer has been. Is it a new release or a retro classic?

Hold my Hand wasn't actually released in 2025, but 10 years ago earlier in 2015.

The reason why you've probably been hearing it a lot recently is because the song has become popular again on social media after being used in an advert for Jet2holidays.

The other top pick - Ordinary - meanwhile spent 13 weeks at the top of the singles chart this summer, making it the longest-running record of the decade.

Last year it was Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso that was named the UK's song of the summer 2024 by The Official Charts.
