How would you feel about wearing a shoe that could be tracked by your parents?
It might seem like a strange idea, but shoe company Skechers has launched a children's shoe with a hidden space for a tracking tag.
The company say it's a way to locate a lost shoe, but could also be used as a safety feature to help parents know where their children are.
Called 'Find My Skechers' it would work in a similar way to tracking a smartphone or other smart device, sending Bluetooth signals to an app that shows on a map where the shoe is at any given time.

A tracking device - like an Apple AirTag - could be fitted inside the sole of the shoe
Tracking devices - like Apple AirTags - are often used to help people keep track of things like their keys, wallet or holiday luggage.
Some people might even use them to keep track of pets by attaching them to a collar, but Apple say they have features that let users know if they are being tracked by an unknown tag.
The trainers have a small compartment under the insole where a tracking tag can be placed.
The shoes are being targeted at children aged four to eight.
What do you think about the shoes? Would you mind being tracked or do you think it's a good idea for safety?
