Charlie made his first hole-in-one this weekend

You may have heard of Tiger Woods - he is considered to be one of the greatest golfers of all time, having won 15 major championships.

And now, it looks like his 15-year-old son Charlie may follow in his footsteps.

This weekend Charlie hit his first hole-in-one during the final round of the PNC Championships whilst playing in the competition alongside his dad.

Charlie isn't the only one keeping it in the family when it comes to sport, check out some more families in sport below....

A famous footballing father and son

This father and son duo are both famous footballers.

Kasper currently plays as a goalkeeper for the Scottish Premiership club Celtic, however he began his career at Manchester City and has played with many clubs since.

His dad, Peter, also played as a goalkeeper and played eight seasons at Manchester United.

The duo hold the Guinness world record for the most English Premier League titles won by a father and son duo! Between them, they have won 6.

Eilish is a Scottish middle and long distance runner, and Team GB olympian

Eilish and Liz McColgan are another duo keeping it in the family.

Eilish McColgan is a middle and long distance runner and a four-time European Championships medallist.

She has also represented Team GB at the Olympics over the past 12 years, competing at 2012 London, 2016 Rio, 2020 Tokyo, and 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Her mum Liz was also a middle and long distance champion runner and has won medals at both the World Championships and Olympics!

She now coaches Eilish.

These Princesses are successful equestrians

Whoa! You'll neigh-ver believe this royal mum and daughter who have had some pretty impressive sporting horse-riding achievements.

Princess Anne was the first member of the royal family to appear at the Olympics. She was a really successful equestrian athlete.

In 1971, she was even named as the BBC Sports Personality of the year.

Her daughter, Zara, was also successful in the equestrian world, following her mum's path by becoming European and World Equestrian Champion on her horse Toytown - and she was also named BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2006.

This brother and sister both got medals in the Paris Olympics this summer

These sporty siblings both took part in the Olympics in Paris this summer.

They are both rowers in the men's and women's eight crews - and they both came home with medals.

And they arent the only siblings who have competed at the olympics.

Tennis superstars

Judy Murray is the mum of three-time tennis singles Grand Slam winner Andy and two-time doubles Grand Slam winner Jamie.

Before coaching her sons to stardom, Judy played tennis professionally and represented Great Britain at the world student games. In 2017, Judy was given an OBE for her services to tennis.

Her sons have both been very successful in tennis.

Andy retired from tennis this summer after winning three Grand Slam singles titles and reaching eleven major finals.

His brother Jamie specialises in doubles. He is a seven-time major doubles champion, a Davis Cup winner, and a former doubles World No. 1!

Romeo followed in his dads footsteps when it came to football

Out of former England footballer David Beckham's four kids, Romeo Beckham is the only one so far to take up his dad's sport professionally.

The 21 year-old played for the team David Beckham co-owns, Inter Miami, and in January 2023, he joined Brentford B on loan from Inter Miami. He helped the team win the under-21 Premier League Cup.

However he has now decided to pursue a new career path in fashion and recently signed with a top fashion agent in Paris.

Like father like son, Elliot has become a decathlon champion, just like his dad

Like Romeo and David, this is another father and son sporting duo.

Elliot Thompson has following in his father's athletic footsteps.

The athlete became the men's UK decathlon champion after winning the 1500m in June 2022 at the UK Athletics Championships.

His success came 46 years after his famous dad two-time Olympic Gold medallist Daley Thompson won the first of his decathlon titles.

The decathlon is a combined event in athletics consisting of ten track and field events including javelin, discus throw and pole vault.

Another father and son footballing duo

Another footballing father and son duo for you!

Before becoming the president of Liberia, George Weah was one of the best footballers around.

In 1995 he was named the Fifa World Player of the year and, to date, he's the only African player to win the Ballon d'Or.

His son Timothy has followed in his footsteps, becoming a professional footballer, currently playing for Italian team Juventus.

Over to rugby now, and this family has three generations of sportsmen.

Welsh rugby union player James Botham plays for Cardiff Rugby as a flanker and is a Wales International.

His father, Liam Botham played both rugby union and rugby league professionally for Cardiff RFC as a wing.

Before that he played county cricket following in the footsteps of his father and famous cricketer Ian Botham.

What a sporty family!

And finally, back to golf...Well kind of!

This sporting family are another sporting family where the kids didn't all pick up the same sport as their parents.

Professional tennis player and Australian Open winner Petr Korda and professional tennis player Regina Rajchrtová have three children.

But while their son Sebastian has picked up a racket, turning professional in 2018, his sisters have picked up golf clubs instead.

Nelly Korda also played in the PNC Championships this weekend

Petr Korda was a caddie for both his daughters when they were teenagers. Both Jessica and Nelly Korda have represented the USA at the Solheim Cup and Nelly Korda won gold at the women's individual golf event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Nelly Korda also played in the PNC Championships this weekend.
