A new trend on social media has revealed Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai has a pen collection with items from all around the world.

In the post, she said: "They say the pen is mightier than the sword — which is ideal, because I've been collecting them since age 11.

"Some were gifts from scholars, others borrowed* from hotels. All have helped me write for girls who deserve an education."

The trend sees a person introduce their friend or partner saying they've got something to show you and you'd better be nice.

Other celebs who have taken part in the trend include Ant and Dec, where Dec is protective over Ant's artwork.

Who is Malala Yousafzai?

Malala Yousafzai is a campaigner for girls' education from Pakistan.

As a young girl of 11 she wrote an anonymous diary about what life was like under the rule of an extreme group called the Taliban in north-west Pakistan.

In the diary, she talked about how she wanted to stay in education and about how girls should be able to go to school.

The Taliban wanted to ban girls' education. Lots of people read the diary all over the world and she became well-known for fighting for her right to an education.

The Taliban didn't like this and in October 2012, she was shot and seriously injured by their soldiers.

People around the world were shocked by what happened to Malala and she quickly won the support of millions.

After leaving Pakistan for medical treatment in the UK she recovered and continued her work.

Later she became the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
