Five design ideas for a national memorial to Queen Elizabeth II, have been revealed by the government.
Queen Elizabeth II was Britain's longest reigning monarch, and the mother of King Charles. She passed away in 2022.
Three out of five of the designs feature a statue of the late Queen riding a horse - showcasing her life-long love of horses.
The memorial will be built in St James' Park in London, near to statues of the late Queen's parents, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth - the Queen Mother.
The public will get a chance to say which design is their favourite, and the winning design will be chosen later this year, though there is currently no date set for when the finished memorial will be unveiled.

This design by Heatherwick Studio features a bridge made of lily pads, and a statue of the Queen on a horse.

This design was created by J&L Gibbons, and features a bridge and statue made from bedrock, a sturdy and strong material that many people use as a foundation to build on. The designers say that the late Queen was the bedrock of the UK.

This sculpture by Tom Stuart-Smith features a replica of a 100-year-old oak tree from Windsor Great Park where the Queen grew up, to symbolise her strength and love of nature. The tree would also light-up at night.

This memorial features a thread of weaving pathways and bridges designed to represent the different themes of her life, and has been designed by WilkinsonEyre.

There are currently around nine statues of Queen Elizabeth II in the UK and around the world, including this one from Rutland in London which was unveiled in celebration of the late Queen's birthday last year.
