The book is about a little fish who gets lost in the ocean but is saved by his own storytelling.
This is the 12th book by Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler to be adapted for BBC One and iPlayer.
Last year’s Donaldson and Scheffler animation, Tabby McTat, which was about a busker and his cat, was watched by 8.6 million people.
That was narrated by Actor Jodie Whittaker. AKA.. Doctor Who.
Actor Hannah Waddingham, who voices the story's narrator, said: "The books and films of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler have been, without a doubt, the greatest cornerstone of my daughter's and my life together.
"They are the most beautiful marriage of animation and voice, perfectly cast.
"There's always something that leans towards the main character not realising just how special they are, and it's a joyous thing to teach a child from an early age that you are delicious, just the way you are."
Rob Brydon will voice several roles and Horrible Histories' actor Lolly Adefope will be Miss Skate.
Are you looking forward to the booked adaptation? What is your favourite story that you would love to see on TV? Let us know in the comments.
