Golden has gone up, up, UP to the top of the UK and US music charts

The movie, which is made by Sony Pictures Animations (who have also made the Spiderverse and Hotel Transylvania movies) and its soundtrack, have broken loads of records since it was released.

Songs like Golden from the movie's fictional band Huntr/x have climbed to the top of the UK music charts, as well as the billboard music charts in the US.

Huntr/x's rivals the Saja Boys have also had chart success, becoming the highest charting K-pop boy band in US Spotify history.

In fact, the KPop Demon Hunter's soundtrack has become the highest charting soundtrack for an animated film since Encanto in 2022.

As well as having a record-brekaing soundtrack, the movie has smashed records at the cinema too, by becoming Netflix's first No 1 in the US movie box office charts, selling out shows across more than 1,000 venues.

What's Kpop Demon hunters all about?

The movie follows Rumi, Mira, and Zoey who are the three members of a superstar girl group with a pretty cool twist...they're secret demon hunters.

They protect their fans from supernatural dangers with their powerful music.

During Huntr/x concerts, their music is used to protect the human world from the forces of darkness.

But rival band the Saja Boys, who are demons in disguise, are their arch enemies.

Jinu, Abby, Romance, Baby, and Mystery have been sent by demon king Gwi-ma to steal the souls of Huntr/x's fans.
