Making a fashion statement with the ‘cone of shame’

If your pet has ever had surgery you'll know all about the so-called 'cone of shame'. It wraps around the pet's neck and stops them from being able to lick, scratch or bite their wound and stitches, helping them heal and prevent infection. But with the cone, comes a feeling of sadness (look at those eyes!) and they're not exactly fashionable...until now!

Surgery for pets can cost a lot of money and author photographer Winnie Au says she is donating some of the money raised from her book of these photos - Cone of Shame - will be donated to an animal charity which provides specialist care for animals in need.
