Glastonbury 2025: What were the highlights from Worthy Farm?

Olivia Rodrigo closed the festival on Sunday
- Published
Held on Worthy Farm in Somerset, Glastonbury is one of the most iconic festivals in the world, and this weekend was full of all of the things that make it special.
Sets from Olivia Rodrigo, Charlie XCX and legends you may need to ask an adult about, like Neil Young, kept the crowds entertained all weekend long.
But Glastonbury isn't just about the music - form celeb spotting to fun activities for kids, there's tonnes of things that happen at the festival.
Here are some of the best bits.

Olivia Rodrigo stealing the show

Pop princess Olivia Rodrigo closed the festival with a set on the iconic Pyramid Stage on Sunday, making her the third youngest headliner ever at Glasto.
She opened by asking the crowd: "Guys, it's the last night of the festival. Are you ready to have some fun?"
And by the sound of her UK fans belting back at her the lyrics of hits such as Drivers Licence, Deja vu and Good 4 U, she definitely delivered.
She's clearly a fan of the UK, too, as she was bigging up classic British desserts like M&S Colin the Caterpillar cakes and sticky toffee puddings between songs.
Sock wrestling

There's something for everyone at the UK's biggest festival, including a whole kids field.
And there were children from around the country going head-to-head in a very funny game called sock wrestling.
The objective? Steal your opponent's sock - that's about it!
Secret sets that were not-so-secret

Pulp were Britpop legends of the 90s
A staple feature of Glastonbury is the secret set, when artists don't feature on the official line-up, and you kind of have to be in the right place at the right time to see them.
It seemed as though lots of them were quite badly kept secrets though - Lorde's stage had to be shut for her surprise performance as the crowd was getting too large, and Britpop legends Pulp also had a huge audience for hits like Common People.
Lewis Capaldi's emotional comeback

Lewis Capaldi's set tugged at the audience's heartstrings
The worst-kept secret of them all seemed to be Lewis Capaldi's unbilled slot.
In 2023, Lewis Capaldi had to abandon his Glastonbury set after vocal problems left him almost unable to sing.
He took two years off to deal with his health issues, but that incomplete set was always at the back of his mind.
On Friday, he took to the Pyramid stage to finish what he started, saying, "second time's a charm".
It was a tearful performance, ending with his emotional ballad Someone You Loved.
