Gladiators bursts back onto our screens - what did you think?

Legend, Sabre, Giant... If you know these names, you won't need us to tell you that Gladiators burst back onto our screens on Saturday night.

We got a glimpse of two new Gladiators - Cyclone and Hammer - who will be looking to get to grips with contenders in the coming weeks.

Plus, the first of two new events for this series rolled into the arena.

Giant and Steel were the first of the Gladiators to compete against the contenders in one of the new events - Atlaspheres.

Well, kind of new. Your parents might remember Atlaspheres as it was in the classic series.

Fan favourite Nitro was in the arena too, but only to share the news that while he will be around, he won't be competing this series due to an injury.
