Gladiators, are you ready?!
Army officer Finlay and personal trainer Marie-Louise have been crowned the champions of series one of Gladiators.
The two contenders beat wrestler Wesley, and firefighter Bronte in the final head-to-head battle on the Eliminator.
The competition took place over 11 weeks, with the contenders facing-off against the Gladiators on challenges like The Edge, Duel and The Gauntlet.
The makers of the show confirmed earlier this week, that Gladiators WILL be back for a second series.
Finlay and Marie-Louise react to winning Gladiators
After winning the trophy, Finlay said it was "the most surreal moment ever" to go from being five years-old and playing The Eliminator in his grandmother's living room, to "lifting the real deal".
Marie-Louise and Bronte were neck-and-neck throughout their Eliminator battle: "Bronte was on my tail the whole time, what a competitor to go up against, she was so close to the end there. I think we're both winners in my eyes" she said.
Finlay said his least favourite event was The Edge, after injuring his ribs during the event in the quarter-finals.
Marie-Louise said her least favourite event was Duel, as she kept getting knocked off by the Gladiators "They had great stability and knock you straight on the head." she said.
Finlay also said he jokingly asked the show's producers: "If we win, do we get to be a Gladiator on the next series?"
"They smiled and walked away with a twinkle in their eyes. So, I don't know if it will happen, but that would be fantastic." he said.
The series, was filmed at Sheffield Arena, and featured 16 Gladiators, including Sabre, Nitro, Giant and Diamond, who have become fan favourites.
