He supported Manchester United growing up
Cole Palmer grew up in Wythenshawe in Manchester, and despite being a childhood Man United fan - he joined Manchester City's Academy at under-eight level.
Palmer then moved through the youth ranks at the club, before captaining the under-18s during the 2019–20 season.
He made his first-team debut for City in September 2020 and scored his first goal for the club a year later.
He was also part of the City squad that won the historic treble in 2023 - however, a few months later, he signed for Chelsea in a £42.5m deal after spending thirteen years with the Premier League champions.
Record-breaking first season at Chelsea
Cole Palmer burst onto the scene with an amazing debut season with Chelsea, quickly making himself a fan favourite.
He scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists in 33 league games - that's more goal involvements than any other player in the Premier League.
He made his England senior debut in November 2023 and he netted his first goal for the Three Lions against Bosnia-Herzegovina in their Euro 2024 warm-up friendly earlier this year.
He is of Afro-Kittitian heritage
Palmer has represented the Three Lions since under-16 level and he scored England's only goal in the Euro 2024 final this summer - but did you know he also holds another country close to his heart.
Palmer's family on his dad's side come from the Caribbean island of St Kitts and Nevis.
This is why he's been spotted wearing boots with both the England and St Kitts and Nevis flags.
Best Young Player of the Year
All of his hard work on the pitch meant the midfielder was named last season's best young player.
He picked up the Premier League's Young Player of the Season award - despite some tricky competition.
Palmer beat Phil Foden, Erling Haaland, Kobbie Mainoo and Bukayo Saka to win the trophy.
Last month, the Chelsea striker also scooped another top footballing award - the Men's PFA Young Player of the Year.
He's a fan of chippy chips!
All this goal scoring is hungry work and it turns out that Palmer likes nothing more than a portion of chips from the chip shop.
When asked by BBC Sport what his favourite post-match meal is, the Chelsea striker revealed he enjoys Chinese takeaway.
His go to order is salt and pepper chicken, rice, curry sauce, noodles... and chippy chips.
"They have to be chippy chips or you don't get them," he added.
